This Copyright Policy explains ownership, user content licensing, and copyright complaint handling for Verifact, a PennyFloat product.

PennyFloat respects intellectual property rights and expects Verifact users to share only content they own, are licensed to use, or are otherwise legally permitted to submit.

Verifact Ownership

Verifact, including its name, product experience, software, interface designs, workflows, analysis systems, documentation, and original PennyFloat content, is owned by PennyFloat or its licensors.

Except for rights expressly granted by PennyFloat, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Verifact.

User-Generated Content Licensing

You retain ownership of user-generated content you submit to Verifact, including claims, evidence, images, comments, reports, and related materials, subject to rights held by third parties.

By submitting content, you grant PennyFloat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, analyze, moderate, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate, protect, and improve Verifact.

Your Responsibility for Submissions

You are responsible for ensuring that your submissions do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, confidentiality obligations, or other rights of any person or organization.

Do not upload screenshots, articles, images, videos, documents, or other materials unless you have the right to share them in the Verifact context.

DMCA and Copyright Contact Process

If you believe content on Verifact infringes your copyright, contact support@pennyfloat.com with enough information for PennyFloat to review the issue.

Please include your name, contact email, a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing content, a statement that you believe the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information you provide is accurate.

PennyFloat may remove or restrict content, request additional information, notify the user who submitted the content, or take other appropriate action based on the circumstances.

Repeat Infringement and Abuse

PennyFloat may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights or misuse the copyright reporting process.

AI Analysis Disclaimer

AI-assisted analysis in Verifact may process user-generated content to classify, summarize, or compare claims and evidence. AI analysis does not create a legal determination of ownership, infringement, fair use, authorization, or factual accuracy.
