Verifact
Community Guidelines
Effective date: June 10, 2026
These Community Guidelines explain the behavior expected in Verifact. They are designed to keep claim and evidence review useful, safe, and focused.
Content may be removed for policy violations, and accounts may be limited, suspended, or terminated when needed to protect the community.
Respectful Discussion
Discuss claims, evidence, and reasoning without attacking people. Strong disagreement is allowed, but harassment, threats, intimidation, and targeted abuse are not allowed.
No Harassment
Do not bully, threaten, stalk, shame, dox, exploit, or encourage abuse of other people. Do not coordinate attacks against users, public figures, moderators, or organizations.
No Explicit or Illegal Content
Do not post explicit sexual content, exploitative content, illegal content, instructions for illegal activity, graphic violence for shock value, or content that promotes self-harm or violence.
No Hate Speech
Do not attack, dehumanize, or promote hatred against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, caste, or veteran status.
No Spam or Manipulation
Do not post spam, scams, repetitive content, malicious links, fake engagement, coordinated inauthentic activity, or content designed to manipulate ratings, reports, or visibility.
No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, organization, public official, platform, moderator, or PennyFloat representative. Parody or commentary must be clear and not misleading.
Evidence Quality Expectations
Submit evidence that is relevant to the claim, clearly sourced when possible, and not intentionally misleading. Avoid cropped, edited, or out-of-context media unless you clearly explain the edit or context.
When sharing screenshots, images, or excerpts, include enough context for others to evaluate the evidence fairly and respect privacy and intellectual property rights.
Moderation Actions
Verifact may remove content, reduce visibility, add labels, limit features, preserve records, suspend accounts, or report serious issues when content violates these Guidelines, Terms, platform rules, or applicable law.
